In the last two weeks we finished Postmodern Principles and started Memory. The idea I'm envisioning for my memory artwork is to make a room from my Grandma's house from when I was playing with my brother. I want to stretch and explore with materials. I'm making a 3D paper room.

For my Postmodern Principle artwork, I was using Text and Image. I have bunch of random words and phrases with a police box. The the background is full of cut up book pages. The words and phrases and police box are from "Doctor Who." The cut up book pages are also a reference to "Doctor Who." My big idea was to use juxtaposition but it didn't work because I couldn't figure out how to use juxtaposition with my ideas so I changed it to Text and Image. In the end it turned out great.
The last few weeks I've been working on my Postmodern Principles artwork. My plan is to use words and images from Dr. Who. I collaged the background, drew the Tardis using a ruler looking at an image that I looked up, and took a couple of quotes from the show to hang off the edge of the artwork. I've had to use engage and persist because I messed up the letters a bunch of times but I turned it into something else and just went with it. I also had to use Stretch & Explore by trying new things together.
